Hallo
auf meinem Desktop Rechner startet z:Zt. X (Xfce4) nur per startx. Da ich den Rechner selten benutze, hatte ich nach längerer Zeit ein du gemacht. Es wurde nichts entfernt. Im Xlog sehe ich keinen Fehler.
Hat jemand eine Idee ?

als root starten den LoginManager?
nein leider nicht, nur ein kurzes Flackern
Also der Rechner bootet und versucht in den Grafikmodus zu wechseln und man landet auf einem black screen mit cursor oben links. Wechsel auf die Konsole und als user startx - dann gehts
hmm
Am besten wäre es, Du würdest mal in den Chat kommen, über das Forum ist mir das Alles zu langwierig.

apt-get purge $(dpkg -l | awk '/lightdm/{ print $2 }')
danach
