Title: SOLVED - fglrx
Post by: jbs1136 on 2012/12/23, 07:27:17
I was using the fglrx driver for my amd HD-5450 and when I did the dist-upgrade tonight it installed the 3.7.1 kernel and broke the fglrx driver.  There was a message about it during the upgrade but I couldn't read it before it was gone.  Checked dmesg but it wasn't there.

The problem that I found was I could no longer use the amdcccle to adjust the display and when moving windows across the screen it was jerky.

Probably a bad description and will supply any more info I can if needed, just tell me what you want.  I went back to the 3.6.10 and everything works.

fglrx does not support linux-3.7.
I have upload fixed fglrx and fglrx-legacy driver to our fixes repo.
