Titel: Nexus 7 - linux?
Beitrag von: vilde in 2013/03/06, 22:36:17
Anybody tried installing Linux on Nexus 7?

After a little search on the net I found two ongoing projects still in development, Ubuntu and Bodhi for nexus 7.

I am a little to coward to try but I'm fed up with the the standard android filled with things I don't want and hooked up with google-everything.

I prefer to get an empty locked box, fill it with what I want, connect what I want with what I want and open the doors I like to be open, not to get a pre-filled box connected to everything and everybody and then try to disconnect and uninstall.

So if there is someone with any experience with changing the Nexus 7 to a working Linux box, please tell me about it.

You can also chroot, and run debian within a virtual machine on your device
