Hi all,
my question is:
Is the instruction
http://wiki.siduction.de/index.php?title=Google_Earth
up-to-date? Do I have no more to obey something regarding multiarch? I want to install under 64-bit.
Thanks for an answer.
there is a helpful fred about gurgel-earth with a few tipps from hsp i think.
Just installed newest version (7.0.3.8542). 32-Bit wanted to remove a lot of programs (i.e.cups) 64-Bit version did install but black window instead of earth, Moon etc.
A while ago with an earlier version (an 7xxx) it did work.
Im am running multiarch on an uptodate system and use NVidia-driver 313.26.

Reiner
Version 6.0.3.2197+0.7.0-1 is still running fine on my multiarch system. To be honest, I am afraid to try installing the new version -- I had such trouble (http://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=2720) the last time.
Well,
I donot use it too much so it doesn't really harm that bad :)
But I might downgrade as well.

Reiner
towo said if you make the package on a 32-bit system, then it will install on the 64-bit multiarch system. But I have not tried that yet.
Ok, that sounds worth a try. Two questions:
1) I plan to build it on 32-bit Lice-CD. Can i then transfer that build to my 64-bit OS on HD?
2) I look for an installation instruction for multiarch. The discussion of some frustrated people in http://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=3010&highlight=multiarch does not really help. The wiki search provides nothing to follow. Do we have an instruction today? And where?
Thanks!
Instruction for multiarch is here (http://wiki.debian.org/Multiarch/HOWTO).
