Post by: mylo on 2013/11/02, 12:33:22
Hi all,

my back was screened as I have trouble and aches sometimes there. Now I have a cd with the pics and a file

cdviewer.jar . If I try to open it with

Openjdk_java7_runtime

nothing happens (via krusader.
How can I start this cdviewer?

well,I have seen such "Doctor-CD"s before and usually the pictures are on them in a normal picture-format (usually jpg). So probably you should not need this viewer at all.

This viewers usually seem only to be useable under windows, even if they are written in java.

regards

Reiner

Try a native DICOM viewer. http://debian-med.alioth.debian.org/tasks/imaging (http://debian-med.alioth.debian.org/tasks/imaging)

Erm, CT or MRI ? There are a lot of DICOM dialects especially for MRI series. So if it still fails with a native viewer, you'll prolly down to using Win.

I was able to view and convert the images of my last CT scan with xmedcon.
The files also had no extension...
