ve just discovered siduction and liking it very much.
However, I have found a small problem.
My time zone is Pacific/Auckland and I have the clock set to 24 HR. It is now 21:17 on Sun 24 Nov 2013, but the clock shows 0817 without A.M.
I have logged in as root and unlocked the window but clicking on the arrows above and below the time does nothing.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and, more importantly, how do I rectify it?
Modified 21:39
Found I had to turn off Netwrk Time. I was then able to set the correct 24 hr time. However, unless I kept the Network time turned to OFF, the time reverted to the p,revious reading.
You have to set your timezone correctly, than you can enable networktime again. Normally at linux systems the internal time is set to UTC. And all the frontends uses the timezone setting to show you the right localtime.
dpkg-reconfigure tzdata
