Hi ! :)
First, sorry for my English, I'm french and I don't often speak english ...
So, I wanted a Debian based rolling-release distro with Gnome, and Siduction seemed to be THE distro I needed.
I tried to install it on VirtualBox, all worked so I wanted to install it on my computer, on a dual boot with Windows 8.1 Pro.
Problem : when I boot from the live CD, the kernel load, a console start and ask me a login, but gnome isn't started so I wait, and after that I obtain a black screen, without error. And I can't do anything but stop the computer. I waited for some minutes, but nothing changed.
I tried the Safe graphis option, same problem.
So, how can I install Siduction with gnome ?
For information, the ISO's MD5 was good, and it seems there is no burning problem.
My configuration :
- Processor : AMD A8-3850 APU
- Motherboard : ASRock A75M
- RAM : Kingston 1600MHz 2x4Go
- Graphics : AMD Radeon HD 6670
I use Dual Graphics on Windows, but I disabled it because I know Linux isn't really friend with that ::)
If someone can help me ...
Thank you in advance ! :D

Have you tryed to start with safe settings at the boot menu?
You mean the safe GFX mode ? I tryed, same problem.
Windows works well, but I tryed a memtest too, nothing wrong detected.
As this is an unknown problem, what you could do is install the Xorg Iso (which has only fluxbox as WM) and then install gnome from there. noX would also work, but you afre limited to cli-installer.

I'll try it on a VM, but if I install Gnome, will the configuration be easy ?
Because I don't relly love to edit configuration files, I'm afraid to make a mistake ::)
Thank's for advice !
You may need to install firmware-linux-nonfree to make the AMD graphics work properly.
Okay, I'll try that, but I haven't the time today and all the week ... I'll give the result in 2 weeks if I can !
Thank's :)
