Title: systemd updates and holding systemd-sysv
Post by: GoinEasy9 on 2014/03/10, 01:29:06
Tonight during updating an older siduction install, I noticed there was a systemd update to version 204-7.  For older installs, is there a way to allow systemd-sysv to stay off hold so systemd updates naturally like it does with siduction 13.2? Or, can we now keep systemd-sysv off hold, and I missed the memorandum?

you missed the memo. sysvinit is now a empty package that depend on sysvinit-core, upstart or systemd

in other words: sysvinit would not remove systemd-sysv

Thank you for the confirmation.

apt-mark unhold systemd-sysv
