Hi
After some days of lazy googling i think i capped in this (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75723) bug
As mentioned elsewhere (https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk/workaround-for-robustness-and-reset-with-intel.patch?h=packages/mesa) Arch has a patch for it and i did not understand if it went upstream already.
Anyway, my kwin refuses to load on opengl, i can use xrender but i'd like to have my system fully functional as soon as possible ;)
This is not a request, but i'd be happy if we can have a fix for this waiting for upstream.
Hello belze,
not completely sure if this affects your issue, but at least we got a lot new packages yesterday:
The debian changelog just says "new upstream version".

libegl1-mesa-drivers
libgl1-mesa-dri
libgl1-mesa-glx
libglapi-mesa
libopenvg1-mesa
libwayland-egl1-mesa
(drm version 2.4.53-1 )
libdrm2
libdrm-intel1
libdrm-nouveau2
libdrm-radeon1

i just dist-upgraded a while ago, and trying to switch to OpenGL i got this:
.xsession-errors

[...]
So i think it's not solved yet :P
EDIT: it seems that ubuntu (https://lists.debian.org/debian-x/2014/04/msg00061.html) has a patched version already, and the issue seems to be solved
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa/+bug/1299499)
There is a debian bug now! Debian bug #746557 (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=746557)
I hope the patch will be applied as soon as possible (....mmm...maybe a siduction fix? :) ....)
Sorry belze,
We will not patch for siduction, because it's already there: mesa 10.1.2-1 Ta-Daa!
Get:1 http://http.debian.net/debian/ unstable/main libgl1-mesa-dri amd64 10.1.2-1 [5693 kB]
From changelog it looks good, as it closes your bug.
* New upstream release.
+ i965: Don't enable reset notification support on Gen4-5 (Closes: #746557)
