Habe aus den Repso Virtualbox installiert und bin gerade am testen von Lightroom in Win7.
Das ganze ist recht träge. Mehr Speicher würde vlt. helfen, auf SSD läuft bereits alles, aber gibt es noch andere Einstellungen oder tricks, um das zu beschleunigen.
I tested LR in a Virtualbox with Win7. It seems quite slow. What can I do, to make it faster?

Klar kannst Du Lightroom beschleunigen: Ein ordentliches Windows direkt auf der Hardware statt in einer VBox wirkt ware Wunder. Sorry - musste jetzt mal sein, aber wenn Du Lightroom von einigen Beschleunigungsfaktoren (Hardware) abschneidest, dann ist es nicht wirklich ein Wunder, wenn es träge reagiert.
Habe jetzt mal in den Virtualboxeinstellungen etwas gespielt. 4 Prozessorren zugeteilt und 8 GB Hautspeicher. Das bringt schonmal einiges :-)

If your BIOS supports VT-d you can try VGA Passthrough to use a second VGA in the virtual machine with its native drivers.
You would need two VGA cards (and two displays): the integrated card for the host and a second for the guest system.
Ofcourse this is all experimental stuff, no warranty for success.

VBox does not support VGA Passthrough!

yes, you are right. Vbox only has experimental support for PCI Passthrough (e.g. for ethernet cards, see chapter 9.6 of the manual).
I mixed it up with qemu that has made some progress in the field of VGA passthrough...
