Hallo,
I can't see the scrollbar slider in iceweasel. I haven't instelld any theme. To scroll a larger site, I have to predict where the slider is. How can I make it visible again?
Here it gets visible as soon as a side is large enough so that scrolling is neccesary.
But maybe there is something on settings -> extended
On my weasel "smooth scrolling" is enabled
EDIT
You may find my about:config settings here: https://imageshack.com/i/ipcDaNVKp
Hello ayala,
thank you for your feedback.
The slider is invisible because no contures are drawn. If I predict the position of the slider I can scroll up and down. The boxes around buttons are gone, too.
hmm...
have you tried another theme?
e.g. here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/debian-space-fun-for-iceweasel/ (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/debian-space-fun-for-iceweasel/)
Hello ayala,
the preview on the add-on site shows no effect for the slider.
No idea then, sorry.
Just an older thread I remember: http://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=3878.msg33743#msg33743
Maybe thats your problem and a solution there.
greets
ayla
Are you using the extension tabmix + ?
I have seen similar issues earlier when Gtk-apps did not play nicely with the Desktopmanager theme (not the iceweasel themes). Could you try to change:
- your KDE theme (for example from oxygen to something else, try iceweasel, change back)
- your Gtk-setting in KDE's systemsettings (gtk2 and gtk3 themes, from Clearlooks or Adwaita to sth else, try iceweasel, and back to Adwaita)
For Adwaita/Clearlooks to integrate well in KDE you need the package gnome-themes-standard (if I remember that right).
The slider is back. And the button border. Don't ask me why or how. ::)
