Title: [FIXED] Spline is down
Post by: Millie on 2015/03/28, 17:32:10
I tried to update this morning and found Spline is down. I switched over to Stuttgart and all is well from there.

Yep, it's back up on my end as well.

Just out of curiosity, does it matter which source I set as default? I changed my LXDE back to Spline, but I still have my Xfce set for Stuttgart.

i am currently using the debian apt load balancer via http://http.debian.net/debian/ in the apt sources...

just out of curiosity, would it also be possible to use such a ballancer for siduction? how much effort is that?

Your curiosity can be satisfied:

http://http.debian.net/

QuoteHow about other repositories?

The code can easily be adapted to be used on non-Debian.org repositories. Get in touch with me for the details (they vary as the code is developed).
The code, issues, etc

The code repository is now at github. Feel free to clone it, hack it, send pull requests, report bugs (in the code! see below), etc. If you don't want to create an account there you may send me (Raphael) an email, but I might need some prodding.
Clone it:
https://github.com/rgeissert/http-redirector.git

If you are having issues with the redirector itself, please email me instead. Hash sum mismatches, poor mirror selection, etc., I'd like to know about all that.
