Title: systemd-networkd
Post by: Jörg on 2015/06/03, 08:49:31
Referring to musca (in recent upgrade-warnings):
Quote
Users should switch to either systemd-networkd or connman or network-manager.
I think we should have a new thread on each subtopic.
Will systemd-networkd be the most logical alternative for ceni, and what are the differences between the three packages? Thanks for any explanation or advice in advance.

Greetings,
Jörg

systemd-networkd is close to ceni because it is also quite basic. On the other hand, Conman is closest to systemd at the moment.

For the explaining, as ever so often, Arch Wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Systemd-networkd) to the rescue. :)

Interesting to hear/learn. is there an automated migration path foreseen in the future, or do users have to follow the way given here in the forum? Is the migration necessary?
