during d-u at the end I got the message that headers are missing.

1) In which log can I find the message to review?
2) Which from the pacs below do I have to install?

grep header /var/log/apt/term.log
grep header /var/log/apt/history.log

apt-get install linux-headers-siduction-686

If you want '-pae' depends if you need to address > 4GB ram on 32bit. A look at your installed linux-image should tell you what you have now.
