Title: systemctl isolate multi-user.target logs you out of TTY session
Post by: terroreek on 2015/12/03, 06:57:12
Hi All,

I am not sure if anyone else is having a similar issue, but my upgrade process has been as follows.  Log out of gnome to lightdm.  CTRL + ALT + F1 go to tty1, login in, then systemctrl isolate multi-user.target, snapshot my btrfs volumes and then dist-upgrade.  However I have noticed on my systems when I isolate multi-user.target I get logged out of my tty session.  I can log back in and snapshot and upgrade as normal.  I can't seem to find if this was an intended change or I should be submitting a bug.

Ok I am an idiot, found the bug on debian and the topic on the forums; http://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=5901.0Double. (http://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=5901.0Double)

If a mod feels like deleting this please feel free to.

Hi terroreek,

I've found the same mistakes (http://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=5901.msg48649) as you. A bugreport (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=805442) in Debian is opened.
