serious bugs of keyboard-configuration (1.147 → 1.148) <Outstanding>
b1 - #833378 - keyboard-configuration: config script fails (syntax error)
Summary:
keyboard-configuration(1 bug)
According to the bug report https://bugs.debian.org/833378 (https://bugs.debian.org/833378) , a patch was submitted 12-13 days ago, but apparently it still hasn't made it's way to the Unstable repos. Has anyone went ahead and upgraded to version 1.148 without issue? Holding back keyboard-configuration also holds back upgrades to console-setup and console-setup-linux packages.
[edit: URL completed by musca]
No problems with 1.148 for the past ~ 10 days.

Thank you, devil.
Hello Krunchtime,
thanks for the heads up, though this doesn't apply to siduction.
Zitat von: nik link=https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=833378#10Apparently, this only happens with mksh.
siduction uses plain debian defaults, and packages will use
dash to run configure scripts.
dash is a shell with a reduced function set which starts much faster than bash.

Thank you for the info, musca. It is okay to come here and post info/questions about Debian Unstable, though, right?
Hello KrunchTime,
sure you can ask for sid. Please make the differences visible.
e.g. "On my sid install I have dash replaced by mksh."
It's the purpose of this forum to separate the real issues from the false positives in apt-listbugs.
