Post by: mash on 2016/09/11, 23:25:03
Since last upgrade ksnapshot loads a webpage of ksnapshot(?) [doesn;t look very trustworthy  though]
Are there any issues?

In December 2015, KSnapshot has been replaced by Spectacle

apt policy kde-spectacle ksnapshot

kde-spectacle:
  Installiert:           16.04.3-1
  Installationskandidat: 16.04.3-1
  Versionstabelle:
*** 16.04.3-1 500
        500 http://httpredir.debian.org/debian unstable/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

ksnapshot:
  Installiert:           (keine)
  Installationskandidat: 4:16.04.3-1

I think jure was trying to point out you should remove ksnapshot and install kde-spectacle...

Funny, gnome-screenshot has issues too. When the saving dialog should appear it goes to 100% CPU usage and hangs. :)

try screengrab :P

Ok, i know, that the upload functionality is borked because of an api change in imgur - i should disable uploads upstream.
