Title: (solved) How do I get back to auto update kernel on d-u?
Post by: vilde on 2016/12/22, 12:04:48
I had one problem with a new kernel on one of my computers for some time ago. I manually installed some kernels from experimental and after a while I installed "linux-image-4.7.0-towo.1-siduction-amd64" and the problem was solved.

I have not noticed before but after d-u today I can see that I'm still on "linux-image-4.7.0-towo.1-siduction-amd64" so some way I have not got the newer kernels since that.

How do I do to get the new kernel as it shall be on next d-u?

You need the metapackages for kernel & header
linux-image-siduction-amd64

linux-headers-siduction-amd64

Thank you devil, that installed the newest kernel and now I'm hopefully on track with that computer again.
