Title: [solved]: package "manpages" conflicts with "keyutils"
Post by: horo on 2017/04/05, 12:47:36
Hi,

Alf already reported this bug at debian bug tracker (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=859514) - thx.
So please hold on... an "apt -f install" will fix it temporarily.

Alf hat den Bug dankenswerterweise bereits bei debian gemeldet, es sollte also bald wieder ok sein.
Wer diesen Fehler beim letzten DU hatte, kann es mit "apt -f install" leicht wieder korrigieren.

Code: [Select]
Unpacking manpages (4.10-1) over (4.09-2) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/manpages_4.10-1_all.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/share/man/man7/keyrings.7.gz', which is also in package keyutils 1.5.9-9
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)

Ciao, Martin

apt -f install don't work on 4 machines here

What does work for me is

Code: [Select]
apt remove --purge nfs-common keyutils manpages
Code: [Select]
apt update && apt full-upgrade
Code: [Select]
apt install nfs-common keyutils
I can live without manpages for now  ;)

Das könnte auch ne neverending story werden - kommt drauf an, wie entschieden wird, das zu lösen.

UPDATE: for now fixed packages are in the fixes repo

Nothing to thank for - and the final fixed debian package should arrive with the next debian sync.
