Title: [gelöst] nvidia module crashed

Hallo Zusammen,

ich habe ein seltsames Problem: nach dem D-U von heute morgen crashed das nvidia modul beim start in den runlevel 5. Doch zuerst ein paar Infos:

das war: 1.) das falsche log, 2.) sollte das richtige log (/var/log/Xorg.0.log)in eine codebox ... und 3.) vermute ich einfach mal, im upgrade war ein neuer xserver. und was rät das manual in dem fall?

Also, es sind nicht immer alle so blöd wie es ausschaut, manchmal versagt auch die Technik. In der 'Vorschau' waren noch alle Logs in Codeboxen und die genaue Beschreibung des Problems mit dem was ich alles schon probiert habe am Ende des Postings. Da ich gestern schnell weg mußte, habe ich mir nach dem 'Absenden' nicht mehr die Message angeschaut. Kann es sein, daß das dmesg log für die Code-box oder sogar das gesamte Posting zu lang war? Jedenfalls habe ich den dmesg log absichtlich gepostet, da dort der einzige brauchbar Hinweis zu finden war, warum der Desktop bzw. X nicht mehr startet. Allerdings ist im Posting das dmesg log nicht komplett, daher wohl auch die fehlenden Codebox. Ich versuche das ganze nochmal.

EDIT: Bingo, die codebox mit dmesg ist zu lang. Daher nur der letzte Teil von dmesg. Falls jemand genauere Hardware bzw. Kernelmessages braucht, kann ich das nochmal einzeln posten.

Also hier nochmal die Beschreibung des Problems:

Infos zum System: ein Dell Laptop E6520 mit NVIDIA NVS 4200M (optimus Option disabled im BIOS).
Repos: die 'normalen' debian und aptosid sowie experimental,  qt-kde.debian.net: experimental-snapshots und frickelplatz.de.
Software: Xorg 1.10, KDE 4.6.2, nvidia 270.41.06-1, ... bleeding bleeding edge halt  :wink:

Das OS habe ich frisch von der DVD aptosid 2011-01 installiert und erst nach dem Hinzufügen der weiteren Repos (s. o.) ein D-U gemacht.

Um 9:09 h habe ich noch ein funktionierenden Desktop gehabt, bis ich auf die glorreiche Idee kam um 10:14 h im runlevel 3 nochmal ein D-U zu machen. Seitdem trapped das nvidia Modul.

Ich habe auch das D-U rückgängig gemacht, was aber am Trap des nvidia modules nichts geändert hat. Der Nouveau Treiber funktioniert auch nicht. Der proprietäre Treiber von NVIDIA erzeugt den gleichen Trap.

Nach einer Neuinstallation funktioniert das nvidia Modul wieder wie erwartet. Die eigentliche Ursache habe ich leider nicht finden können.
