So I have easyeffects on my workstation and my laptop on siduction with KDE.
On workstation it's works with no issues but on my laptop is not showed at all.
I compiled also the deb just in case but didn't work too.
My guess is that it is not working some GTK4 library on kde as the process don't crash and I am able to use the CLI version.
In the shell doesn't show any error so I have no idea how to debug the issue.
Any hints why on KDE is not working?
The package was installed successfully and on another computer with siduction works with no issues.
I tried with ldd and compare on the 2 machines but all the libraries loaded are the same.
I'm using easyeffects as flatpak with no problems since ages.
I would give the flatpak version a try.
I never used flatpak or those kind of packages as I prefer deb ones.
I am trying to understand why it is not working.
mh, maybe the theme is the problem, i had same problems with ardour, it didn't shows up till I changed the theme. In my case I had to set the GTK-theme to default.
And I found this, https://github.com/wwmm/easyeffects/wiki/FAQ#on-kde-plasma-524-or-later
Ah, I don't have easyeffects installed, I am just guessing.
So I installed easyeffects and it is working.
