Title: EFI Dual boot Siduction with linux Mint on same SSD
Post by: jsluk on 2023/09/17, 17:18:25
Hi all,
I've just discovered Siduction and joined the forum.  I tried out the USB Live version and now I am ready to install into my system.  Regarding installing UEFI along side with Linux MInt, do I use a separate efi partition for Siduction or can I use the same efi partition (i.e. /dev/sdx1 that I have when I installed Mint?  I assumed that I need to do a manual install with Callamaras installer in order to have Siduction and Mint reside on the same SSD.  Right?

Thanks and best regards.

You don't need manual install in calamares.
If you choose "Install alongside", then Calamares will use an existing ESP.

Thanks towo.  I will give your suggestion a try.  It has been a long time since I have used Callamaras installer.
