After Dist-Upgrade last night PC rebooted to Bios instead of Grub.
- Dell XPS 9315 with Windows 11 partition and vanilla Siduction installation using UEFI.
This set-up has worked well for the past two months and through several DU's.
There is a thread about this: https://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=9115.0
Thanks Devil- Your suggestion worked.
Is this fix a one-time issue: or should I do the "grub-install" and "update-grub" commands right after I do distribution upgrades in the future?
In my experience it was an one-time issue. Did the recommended steps once and since then I can full-upgrade without grub-install and update-grub every time.
Yes, it was hopefully a one-time thing.
