Leider bleibt es bei "verunglückten" Installationen wohl nicht in "/var" oder es verschwand, als ich den Kernel "purge"te.

Danke für das Log, eine gefixte Version ist im Repo, ich kann das aber nicht selbst testen, mangels Nvidia-Hardware.

Nichts für Ungut- Hat das mit dem aktuellen Kernel von Nvidia 570... eine besondere Bewandtnis das der unter Siduction noch nicht zur Verfügung steht?

Sorry (toto) Muss leider immer öfter feststellen das die Zeit nicht spurlos an einem vorbeigegangen ist.
Hast du denn etwas zum Einbauen einer Nvidia- Graka? PCI express Steckplatz min. Gen3 für eine 10er, vielleicht auch RTX 20er?
Midi- Desktop sollte es schon sein, Einbaulänge >300mm. Nur so 'ne Überlegung ;-)

Und nein, ich habe keinen Rechner übrig um eine Nvidia Karte einzubauen, und ich will das auch gar nicht.
Und 570.xx wird es so schnell nicht geben, da sich mit diesem Treiber zu viel geändert hat und ich nicht weiss, wie Debian diese Änderungen in das Packaging einbauen würde.

I just ran another d-u but the build is still failing. Make log attached.
Update: nvidia-kernel-dkms 550.144.03-0~siduction.4 also doesn't build for kernel 6.13.x. As a temp fix, I had to downgrade to 535.216.03-3

Have you tryed the updated driver package yet?
Tried again this morning to install the driver and nvidia-kernel-dkms. No luck.
On my first attempt, I saw an error -- failure building modules for the previous kernel 6.13.9-1. So I used kernel-remover and removed that kernel, leaving only 6.14.2-1 on the machine.

5, everything compiles correctly on both kernel 6.14-2 and the older 6.13-11.

[Vorhin bekam ich einen mittelmäßigen Schreck, als ich mein(!) Versprechen einer Lieferung von make.log einlösen wollte. Zu dem Zeitpunkt wollte der Treiber unter keinem meiner Kernel mehr dkms-kompilieren. Das folgende Update behob dann meine Probleme.]
