Hi, I install mintstick from Synaptic and it uninstalls itself - I have already installed it twice and the same thing happens ... Thanks for your comments.
I don't know what happened here.
Is your system up-to-date? Do you always update the system with 'apt full-upgrade'?
If not, please do it, not with synaptic, and read the manual why it is better to do it with apt.
You should perform an 'apt update' followed by an 'apt full-upgrade --solver 3.0'.
Now install 'mintstick' with apt, not with synaptic.
if you have performed a 'full upgrade' regularly, then try the following, install it with 'apt install mintstick'.
The next time you perform an 'apt full-upgrade' and 'mintstick' should be removed, ask with 'aptitude why-not mintstick', before continuing with the 'full-upgrade'.
You can always stop the 'full-upgrade' with the answer 'n' when you get the question to continue or not.
I always did apt update and apt upgrade, never 'full' ... :o It has not happened again, thank you. :)
