Hello Folks,
About two weeks ago, I am getting a strange result when I complete the sudo apt full-upgrade command. Response says it will NOT upgrade ~205 packages (see text).
205 packages can be upgraded. Run 'apt list --upgradable' to see them.
d@SHINE-VB:~$ sudo apt full-upgrade
The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:
libwoff1
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove it.

GENERALLY, if I wait a week or so, the Siduction managers make changes and I update without issue. THIS TIME its been 2 weeks and the failure to update continues. How do I get my system to properly upgrade?
For experimentation, I used the command: sudo aptitude full-upgrade and the response was a number of dependencies would need to be changed (see text).
d@SHINE-VB:~$ sudo aptitude full-upgrade

You accept the solution and read the topics related to it.

Thank you for your recommendation. It turned out successful.
That's said, I'm somewhat perplexed by the fact I've been using Siduction for about 2 or 3 years and don't think I've EVER needed to use "aptitude" command for any upgrade in the past.
Regarding me needing "aptitude" for this recent upgrade ... Is that a situation peculiar to my system install or did ALL Siduction users need to use aptitude for this recent upgrade?
A situation like this is so infrequent I thought surely there would be some mention of this need / requirement in the forum. I saw none. Thoughts? Thanks to all.
Although it's not an exact match,
https://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=9930.0
should show some of what you're after - lots of us have had issues with the upgrade in recent times, so you're not alone.
Thanks for the tip! You are RIGHT! Not exact but a very close match. I would have expected some curious minds to post about the recent need to upgrade using APTITUDE command just like the folks did for the thread you called my attention to.
Still wondering if the vast majority of Siduction users needed to use APTITUDE for the recent upgrade OR...if I needed to use it because of a peculiarity of my particular Siduction install.
Thanks to all.
If you wanted to upgrade at this point in time, aptitude is a great help. This is nothing that only happens to you, we all have the same output. You could have also waited it out like I do. Today the output shows:
Summary:
Upgrading: 654, Installing: 17, Removing: 1, Not Upgrading: 9
Download size: 1.785 MB
So things are smoothing out. If you visit https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/ and search for qt, you will find the reason for the holdup. There is an ongoing extensive transition to Qt 6.10, which needs to be completed before Plasma 6.6 can move into Sid (and siduction). Transitions of that size sometimes cause what you witnessed, so no need to worry. Just sit it out.
It seems the issue has been resolved. Everything was updated, the system is up to date, nothing to update at all. No issues.

Using siduction and its predecessors for 15 or so years, I have not felt the need to resort to aptitude, although it is a perfectly good package management tool. What I have done when upgrading got scary is (a) simply wait a few days, and/or (b) use apt upgrade instead of full-upgrade. This is safe to do for a short while -- days or weeks, maybe. I have four systems, different hardware but all KDE desktops today, but I did have a LXQt laptop system until the hardware died. This recent round of qt6 and KDE/Plasma upgrades have been challenging at times, but all four systems are fully upgraded and working as expected today. I have a Windows 11 VM, using qemu and KVM to support my genealogy website development requirements, and I'm a LibreOffice user when I need those office packages. Browsers are SRWare Iron and Firefox. Main storage on my "productivity" system is a pair of WD30EZAX drives running a single BTRFS filesystem i.e. striped data and mirrored metadata. Here's the full description of that system:

Thank you to all respondents.
Now I know that more than a few users like me suffered delayed upgrades using the "usual" sudo apt update and sudo apt full-upgrade commands. Like you suggested, the course of action I normally take is to WAIT and let the code writers sort out the upgrade glitches. When this situation went on for over two weeks and virtually NO discussion in the forum my early conclusion is that something about the whole upgrade fell off track. Good to know that behind the scenes many people were making solutions...its just there was NO news updates known to me on the behind the scenes efforts.

If you look at the top "Upgrade Warnings" sub-forum, and count the first 10 posts, you will see that 7 out of 10 were on the DE (German Language) side. This is normal -- the dev team is most or all native German speakers.
Please don't let that fact be any kind of discouragement -- most of the devs speak excellent English, and a few of us Western Hemisphere types are able to help, at times. Also, a browser with built-in translation makes it easy to see what the DE posts are reporting.
Removing xwaylandvideobridge allowed the d-u to proceed with no removals for me.
FYI: Here(tm) is my problem: Blender has to be removed due to issues with libopenexr-3-4-33 (corrupted: libopenexr-3-1-30). I don't need Blender (I just use it for fun, without knowing much about it ;D). Therefore, I decided to uninstall Blender. And so far, I haven't had any problems with f-u

For the same reason, I uninstalled Blender over a week ago.
Anyone who wants to or needs to use Blender can either download an all-in-one package from blender.org or install the version from the Debian/experimental branch.
