Als würde die versagende Datenbank unseren Lesern nicht bereits genug Verdruss bereiten, kommt derzeit auch noch eine DDoS-Attacke hinzu. Das teilte unser derzeitiger Hoster netcup uns soeben mit. Also nicht wundern, wenn vor dem Aufruf des Forums kurz der Browser überprüft wird. Das kommt von der von netcup vorgeschalteten Software Anubis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anubis_(software)).
As if the malfunctioning database weren't causing our readers enough trouble already, we are now also facing a DDoS attack. Our current hosting provider, netcup, has just informed us of this. So don't be surprised if your browser is briefly checked before you access the forum. This is due to the software Anubis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anubis_(software)) deployed by netcup.
Danke für den Hinweis. Das erklärt dann auch, warum heute zeitweise fast nichts mehr ging. Und die Browserüberprüfung hatte mich jetzt auch kurz erschreckt, dachte schon, ich hab mir was eingefangen ...

Wer gerade feststellt, dass sein RSS-Feed fürs Forum nicht mehr funktioniert: Das ist eine Folge des Tools Anubis, das uns netcup vorgeschaltet hat. Das sieht RSS als Bot und blockt es. Wird leider bis mindestens Sonntag so bleiben.
