Title: Upgrade to Kernel 4.19 –> again: X does not start in VirtualBox
Post by: Xaver on 2018/10/23, 13:50:48

In case you run Siduction in VirtualBox
Kernel upgrade 4.18... to 4.19.0 ––> graphical environment does not work in VirtualBox
So keep a 4.18... kernel as fallback.

General suggestion for major kernel upgrades in VirtualBox:
Code: [Select]
# apt-mark hold linux-image-siduction-amd64until the next upgrade of the virtualbox-guest-... packages drops in.

With kernel upgrade 4.19.0 –> 4.19.1 the graphical environment does work now in VirtualBox.  :)
