Desperado is not a correct word. The correct one is DesESperado
It means, without hope.
But anyway, Desperado works and run excellent!!!

I think "desperado" is a "Spanglish" word, used north of Mexico, like the Eagles song and album.

In the brazilian portuguese "desperado" signifies "desesperado" what It's the same of spanish which It means desperate in english.
