can't change the time?

I set the right time zone. But the time is wrong and I can't change it. What do I do?

What do you do to change the time? Error message? KDE, XFCE, LXDE?

I'm using xfce. I just can't find the settings for it. Do I have to so it in the terminal?

Open the terminal, "su" to become root.
