cool, the e17 alpha is out! that means it will probably be in Sid about half a year from now ;-)

I find it hard to believe you cannot install an e17 theme you like, it took me just a few minutes to find and install a suitable theme. To reject an easily  configurable WM because of one element of the shipped  configuration you don't like seems an illogical criticism.  

it should be easy to install them after downloading from here http://e17-stuff.org

Thank you for your hint! I appreciate (My comment was intended to get this helping feedback). Some time ago (more than a year) I had a failed try getting an e16.99 installation adapted. Reading the actual changelog I can see there have been a lot of bugs fixed in the e17 gui interface recently. I hope it is getting easier to adapt e17

Back in the sidux days, I have quite a few e17 iso builds, this one is a e17 build with fvwm-crystal wallpaper as default, I can't remember the reason for the location of the wallpaper, it seems ages ago
