Difficult to drag windows in crossover

I've installed KDE 4.11 and upgraded to crossover 12.5.  I now have to use alt-drag to drag windows.  In the past, I was able to move windows without pressing the alt-key.  Oddly, it only happens if the program starts maximized.  If I un-maximize it, I can only drag with the alt-key.  For example, I can drag Microsoft Word windows just fine.  For Excel and Powerpoint (which start out maximized) - I cannot drag unless I press the alt-key when un-maximized.

Anybody have any suggestions?
