I have installed nvidia-304-driver (due to my 6xxx serie's card), but d-u wants to update nvidia-vdpau-driver to 325-siduction. I have no clue what this package is needed for, and the 325 from debian was already installed, with no obvious harm for X or my system. I simply want to point out this fact as it does not seem right and at least is confusing.

Quote# apt-cache policy nvidia-vdpau-driver

I am now holding back this package which doesn't seem a real solution either.
Ok, you can't code, but you still might be able to write a bug report for Debian's sake
