doctors pictures from my back

Hi all,

my back was screened as I have trouble and aches sometimes there. Now I have a cd with the pics and a file

cdviewer.jar . If I try to open it with

Openjdk_java7_runtime

nothing happens (via krusader.
How can I start this cdviewer?

well,I have seen such "Doctor-CD"s before and usually the pictures are on them in a normal picture-format (usually jpg). So probably you should not need this viewer at all.

This viewers usually seem only to be useable under windows, even if they are written in java.

Try a native DICOM viewer. http://debian-med.alioth.debian.org/tasks/imaging


Erm, CT or MRI ? There are a lot of DICOM dialects especially for MRI series. So if it still fails with a native viewer, you'll prolly down to using Win.

the files have no file type ending.

I was able to view and convert the images of my last CT scan with xmedcon.
The files also had no extension...
