Is there a way to *not* run daptup each time I run a d-u (other than purgeing it)?

I read "/etc/daptup.conf" but didn't find any possyibility to disable the apt hook.

Due to daptup's limited usefullness and because it slowes down the complete d-u prozess I don't like to run it every time.
Ok, you can't code, but you still might be able to write a bug report for Debian's sake

michaa7: i see also limited usecases for that tool and removed it from the package list. So it is not in the final.

hmm, I purged it because of the reasons michaa7 said, but sometimes it could be useful.

So I would also ask the question whether it is possible to switch it on and off or so.
