Santa, this is sad news.
But, whatever you decide and whatever happens, I thank you for your work!

In open sourece sometimes pathes cross and later seperate. Its how things sometimes go.
I do not know what happed, I myself have been very quite the last month, so I think I am neutral to this. Its always a pitty when good ppl decide to leave, but everybody has also its own life, and other responsabilities.

What remains in the end, is that everybody still can look in each others eyes in friendly terms.
So I hope you will not leave with negative feelings.

Thanks again for everything.

@santa

Thanks for your work on siduction over recent times

@devil

This sounds like an organised transfer away from kdenext is necessary. Yours, and others, help would be appreciated.

drb,
like said before, no need to hurry. We will post about a way back to Debian's KDE soon.

Thanks for your work Santa, it was a pleasure to use kdenext that long time. I still want to use it further - but if there is no maintainer it will not be the best choice.
Thanks to devil for the way back to debian.

Right now the perl transition is a blocker, but as soon as that is over, we will post a routine to get users back to Debian KDE.

Derzeit blockiert die Perl-Transition, aber sobald die durch ist, veröffentlichen wir eine Routine für den Umstieg auf Debian KDE.

@ Santa,

your leaving will be a great loss to the community. Thank you for your contributions and hard work while you have been with us.

@ Devil,

Thank you for keeping us apprised of developments with regard to the future of the kdenext repo, for your effort and any one else involved in working on providing a smooth transition from kdenext to debian / kde when the time comes.
