(solved) wrong display settings

I don't get the right display settings on one of my computers, changed to a newer but not new monitor.

The monitor is a Dell and it shall be on 1920x1080 and the frequency shall be lower than it is i think.

On the settings-display I am not able to change anything.

Install the nvidia blob, nouveau does not support that card.

I red somewhere that nouveau shall support Geforce 1050 now, does it? And how do I make it work if it does?

I think I go on answering my own posts.

After today's d-u finally my nvidia 1050 graphic adapter works with native linux driver.
