Icons position on KDE desktop reset

Hello,

since I reinstalled KDE flavour of Siduction last December, sometimes (honestly quite often, like at least once a week) all the positions of the icons on the desktop reset and all icons get aligned massively on left of the screen in an unmeaningful fashon.

This is particularly annoying, as these icons are not two or three, but 20-30 and redistributing them on the screen gets more and more annoying.

The screen is organized as "folders view".

Has anybody encountered the same bug? Are there solutions but for blocking icons completely?

Right click on the desktop -> icons -> locked ?   :)

IT is exactly what I would like to avoid.
Just think about deactivating and reactivating when you gotta move an icon...

The point is: why do positions resist to some reboots and not to some others?

BUMP!

It looks like that this bug is known but there's zero effort to solve it:

Reading through the internet seems it's some bug in newer QT libraries.
Distros using old versions like kubuntu 16.04 are not affected.
Looks like a regression.

Also important...

Some people on forum wrote that with 5.9.0 this problem looked like fixed, but sid archives are still at 5.8.7 while 5.10.4 is out:
