Earlier, there were things like kde-standard being removed. Now the list for me is

  kdepimlibs-data kdepimlibs-kio-plugins kf5-kdepimlibs-kio-plugins knode
  libkf5composereditorng5 libkf5gapiblogger5 libkf5gapicalendar5
  libkf5gapicontacts5 libkf5gapicore5 libkf5gapitasks5 libmessagecomposer4
  libmessageviewer4 libtemplateparser4

I'd advise some caution.

Those packages can go, as they come back with the new kdepim that is being installed at the same time.

Pip

Hoped that might be the case, but when kde-standard was included, thought it best to check.
Thanks.

Cool, thanks Devil.

I've been watching the progress on this, and was about to ask the same question about those very same packages flagged as 'to be removed'

bevo

I did as devil recommend.
Since then there are continue acivities on the HD.

Any advice?

In addition to the above I still have sane stuff wanting to be removed :
libksane-data (4:15.08.3-1)
   libksane0 (4:15.08.3-1)
ksaneplugin  (4:16.08.0-1)

Any ideas why?

jure

let them go

bevo: I cannot see how the removal of any of those packages could have that effect.

bevo

@devil

I removed kdepim > problem gone.
installed kdepim > problem back  :(

But after DU today all is fine  :)
