Since d-u 4 days ago, Firefox underlines all words in a text box as incorrect. I noticed in Add-ons > Languages all language packs were labelled "Language pack could not be verified for use in Firefox. Proceed with caution". A little search found that language packs now need to be signed by Mozilla, so I updated my current English (GB) to the latest and subsequently the warning did not appear. Also added English (US) just to support their funny spelling. Not solved, all words are still underlined. Does anyone else see this or have a solution?
EDIT: I realised after posting this Language pack !=Dictionary. So installed a different dictionary (British English Dictionary (Marco Pinto)) but problem remains.

Yes, I see it as well, very annoying.

There is a bug report and one poster says it is ok in the Mozilla build version so looks like a Debian package problem. I don't think I want to use the mentioned workaround of overwriting the Debian binary. I'll wait for now.

Thanks Sunrat! I will wait as well.

I had this since some days, after installing firefox and myspell for my language from exeprimental I got it to work, in my case (swedish) like this:
apt install -t experimental firefox

apt install -t experimental myspell-sv-se

Of cause you have to have experimental enabled in your /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian.list
I don't know if this is recommended way to solve this so do it don't blame me.

From the latest posts in the bug report:
Zitat"System hunspell is not supported by Firefox anymore [ ... ] So Firefox has to be recompiled with internal hunspell"
...
This is fixed in 62.0~b3-1 in experimental.

This will filter to Sid quickly I suspect.

This appears to be fixed with the latest d-u which upgraded Firefox to  61.0-2.
