Shutdown doesn't work

I did a DU for the first time in a while this week, and since that shut-down from menu doesn't work

Linux siductionbox 5.9.9-towo.2-siduction-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT siduction 5.9-9.1 (2020-11-20) x86_64 GNU/Linux

Once booted, there is shut down alternative.


I select it and end up at then shutdown screen.


Pressing shut down results in nothing. Now there is no shut down alternative on menu


I tried an older kernel with the same result. Any ideas?
