Umgang mit Zulucrypt

Allen zuerst ein gutes neues Jahr

ich stehe vor folgendem Problem. Ich habe meine root Partition, meine Datenpartition und meine home Partition verschlüsselt.

Nun ist die root Partition zu klein geworden. Ich erwäge daher folgendes :

Ich starte den Rechner von außen mit einer Debian CD. Dann installiere ich Zulucrypt. Mit Zulucrypt  kann ich bequem meine  verschlüsselten Partitionen aufsperren. Dann würde ich mit G_Parted die Partitionsgrößen anpassen  und mit Zulucrypt wieder zusperren.

Dann ein Reboot auf dem Hauptrechner.

Habe ich etwas übersehen?

Gparted manual says it can handle encrypted partitions:

So no zulucrypt needed.  Ich hoffe ....

Gparted does funny things:

After entering the passphrase (file-size 232 GB) it adds a empty partition to the disk 227 GB and locks the original 232 GB file.
(the disk has 256 GB)

I have tried to load a screenshot to this forum - bit I did (not) succeed.
