I notice the only available installation media is from last year. Is this typical for Siduction, or is there a more recent iso I'm not aware of?

Hi,
we are waiting for Plasma 6 to be fully available in Unstable, before we do our next release. Typically, we try to release twice a year, though. You can have a look at https://testbuilds.siduction.org/, where you can find builds, that have been built, booted and installed by us. Not further testing, but usually these builds are totally fine.

Interesting... I thought  Plasma 6 WAS available in unstable. What's missing? Historically unstable has always been right on the bleeding edge...

Well, that used to be the case, until Debian lost Norbert Preining as a developer by depriving him of his rights. On my blog, I have an item on the facts of the matter. You will have to translate https://linuxnews.de/norbert-preining-verlaesst-debian/ from German.

Besides that, the 64-bit time_t transition came in the way in the spring of 202 and paralysed every development for a good 6 weeks. Right now a lot of Plasma 6 is already in unstable, but not everything. Things trickle in from experimental on a daily basis.
