After a few tries...I was able to get Siduction KDE installed!  Woohoo!  I had to first update the installation media to get it to work.  I didn't see anything about needing to do that when skimming through the manual, but I saw a snippet in the forum about installs failing until updated and that got me going in the right direction. I know it is silly and all, but I am feeling very pleased with myself right now and I had to tell someone. Thanks for listening and thank you to everyone that has put so much into this project.

Glad you made it work. Next to the stable ISO images we have https://testbuilds.siduction.org/, which usually has more recent, but less tested images. Actually, we are late with a new release, but we  are still waiting on Plasma 6, which is slowly dripping into unstable.
