Maybe a bug -- maybe a feature ?

On a 2012-1 KDE system, I needed to add a user.  I noticed that the default new keyboard layout was DE.  Ooops! It was easy to change to EN(US) via systemsettings > input devices > keyboard > layout.

It's not urgent but just a note for the next release, probably it should be EN (US) for widest user base.
