Hi,

I desperately want to install siduction, but I somehow meesed up the live dvd, so its unable to boot, I guess its because I can't find the DAO option in k3b... please help!

btw, shuld I enable the "verify written data" option when burning the iso?

I already screwed up one DVD, thats my last one :), so I really don't want to mess this one up.

Sadly the kde version is over 900mb, so I can't use my 800mb cdr... or can I?

Sorry for annoying you, but I'm not exactly a hacker.. lol

DVD knows nothing of DAO, that is just for CD-Rom.
Don't you have a usb-stick? an old one with 1 GByte would do to install.

And what is wrong with the DVD you burned? Why foes it not boot? What is your hardware, specialy your graphics card?

Hey devil, it's been long time! :)

The problem was solved after cleaning the dvd drive...
Took the time and played a bit with razor and lxde versions. As always a fantastic distro. Comming from ubuntu >> sidux >> aptosid, and continuing siduction of course!

I've noticed aptosids falling position on distrowatch a month ago and thought to myself -  if only devil would make a distro after leaving aptosid, found  siduction on the list by  pure luck...., anyways, expect more stupid questions in the future. :)

Cheers!

Welcome home nox :)
With aptosid's falling standings on DW the opportunity for siduction to make its rise is rising. So far there hasn't been a release of aptosid for some time and already siduction is soon preparing for another release!
