Kernel 3.7 developement

Hi all,

for users, who wants to continue using kernel 3.7, i will develop this kernel as long as upstream does develop this branch.

For installing do

apt-get install linux-image-3.7-siduction-$arch linux-headers-3.7-siduction-$arch

good idea and thanks for the effort.

Is it right to assume that the update frequency of this 3.7 kernel will be (much) lower than the frequency the normal siduction kernel is updated? If so, that would be a very sensible option for users with older HW (like mine).

Hi Micha,

updates for the 3.7 branch will only come, if there is a upstream release or there is a need for a fast security fix.
