Latest Iceweasel rendering router homepage

Sorry for long title, the last three versions of Iceweasel (now on 23) take minutes to render my router (2wire 2700) homepage on 192.168.1.254 Chrome still renders this page almost instantly as Iceweasel used to, clearly something has changed in Iceweasel any suggestions where to look.

As far as I remember Mozilla uses a new js-engine (I read it elsewhere) which is supposed to speed up the rendering ;-) . So if there are problems you should contact them directly (assuming your computers webinterface is using js).

I have just disabled the iced-tea plugin and Iceweasel now loads the router page instantly. I can't remember why I installed the plugin, but I expect I will find out eventually when some site requires it.

My mistake, it didn't survive a reboot the page must have been in the cache, the original problem  still exists.
