Hi,

the KDE SC 4.11.3 built from the pre-release tarballs has landed in kdenext/experimental-snapshots a few minutes ago, and If everything goes as expected, it's going to be moved to unstable the day of the official release - tuesday november 5. Please do NOT report bugs in bugs.kde.org until november 5, when the release is made officially by KDE; of course in the meantime you may post your issues here in the forum.

The new kdepim available in kdenext/kdepim-ng wasn't updated yet.

Everything's fine here too.

Thank you, Santa!

@santa: Can you please also build kdepim 4.11.3. I'm actually have some bugfixes inside kmail 4.11.3, so I'd like to have a fixed version :)

Btw. kmail 4.11.2 works quite good for me. Some rough eges here and there, but it is usable for my daily work.

I just did a fresh install of firestarter kde64 in a VM and after a full d-u the usual folders in /home/user are missing in dolphin 4.11.3.

devil

What are 'usual folders'? Hidden folders are not shown as default. A alt-. will make them visible.

Not hidden folders, but I expected to see /home/user/Documents, /home/user/Downloads, /home/user/Music etc.

Of course it's simple to create them, just wondering why the default set are missing.

devil

We are not patronizing our users. You might like muzac better instead of Music.

Point taken.  I had forgotten this is how is was with Siductoin LXDE/XFCE too.   Happy to say fully updated Siduction KDE 64bit is working v.well as a VM and intend to instal on a HDD partition ASAP.

krisbee, those paths are not preconfigured, but if you are used to have them (and created them by your own) you might want to tell KDE about them. In Systemsettings->UserAccount, there is  an entry to configure such common paths and folders.

Putting preconfigured folders under /home would just make extra work for me -- I would have to delete them.  I symlink my data folders into my home folder from another drive.
