I've been thinking about running E17 (Looks like E18 is still not in Sid..) is the "xorg" iso the one to use to get started? Is there any Desktop Environment or Manager that comes with it?

No-x has no X (and a cli installer), Xorg has fluxbox.

Have a good read here if you plan on installing/using E17/E18

Off-topic: I was a Sidux user back in the day. Very happy to see some old, familiar names on these forums. Looking forward to the install. Wish me luck. :)

There is one notable difference between the no-X and the minimal Xorg flavour, that is the default init (3 vs 5) or targets as they are called nowadays with systemd. If you use noX as base, you might need to play a bit with starting graphical.target as default and setting a loginmanager, Xorg-flavour as base could have better matching presettings.
You might search the forum for some older posts about Enlightenment/E17 (here's one with a screenshot: http://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=2914.msg25252#msg25252 ), but these posts are rather old and do in no way reflect the current situation with systemd, lightdm and such.
Looking forward to your reports ;)

Thanks for the info.  I wasn't aware that Xorg had fluxbox.  I've downloaded the ISO and I'm thinking of installing that over Siduction LXDE.  I prefer a window manager only environment over a desktop environment.
